We
have stabling for thirty-eight horses and all the stables have
automatic waterers and are maintained to a high standard.
Storage for tack and rugs is also provided, as well as rug drying
and washing facilities for numnahs and girths.
All
the horses are fed on high quality Dengie feeds and good quality
haylage providing a balanced and healthy diet.
We
have a regular vaccination schedule and have regular visits from a
horse dentist and weekly farrier attendance. All horse
records are stored on a computerised database allowing easy access
to each horses details.
As
well as twenty-four hour on site supervision we also have a ten
camera CCTV system installed for extra security for both horses and
tack.
All
our staff are trained and committed to the care of all the horses on
the yard. We have dedicated Yard Supervisors who are
responsible for their own stable block thus maintaining a consistent
level of care and supervision. Our more senior staff offer a
unique combination of experience and qualifications which also
benefits the health and well being of the horses.
All
our liveries are entitled to use many of the facilities at Smeltings
