Training
can be provided for individuals or groups covering aspects including
towing law, safe towing, reversing. Our Horse Trailer Course
can prove particularly useful for those who are considering buying
or have recently purchased a trailer.
We
also provide training towards the trailer towing test introduced for
anyone who past their driving test after January 1997. If you
passed your car driving test after January 1997, you may now need to
pass a separate test (licence category B + E) to tow a trailer or
caravan weighing over 750kg M.A.M. (Maximum Authorised Mass).
To pass the B+E Test you will need to demonstrate a high standard of
driving on the road as well as undertaking a number of off-road
exercises including a reversing manoeuvre, a controlled stop and
uncoupling and coupling.
All
training is given by Mark Stenton, a Driving Standards Agency
Approved Driving Instructor, ensuring professional tuition is
provided. As well as being an ADI, Mark also holds a C+E
licence (Large goods vehicle) and has many years experience handling
and transporting horses.

improve your reversing skills whilst also giving you confidence in

Trailer Safety
& Towing Course (2 hrs) £55.00
Important advice on
towing safely and correctly. Ideal for those new to towing or
considering purchasing a trailer/tow vehicle or for those who need
to become more confident with towing. All driving off the road
using our vehicle & trailer.
