About Us
Smeltings Farm Riding Centre is a family run business and has been established since 1986. Situated on the outskirts of Sheffield, only 4 miles from Sheffield City Centre, Smeltings Farm sits amongst 35 acres overlooking the picturesque Mayfield Valley and is just 1/4 mile from the Peak District National Park.
BHS & ABRS Approved Centre
As well as being a British Horse Society and Association of British Riding Schools Approved Centre we have also been awarded the top 5 Star Rating for our Riding School Licence. Our facilities include an indoor arena, an all weather outdoor arena, lunge pen, jumping/agility paddock and hacking track around our fields.
In addition to standard riding lessons we are also a registered and trained Centre for The British Horse Society Changing Lives through Horses, with a well equipped lecture room and experienced staff we can offer this scheme to both individuals and groups to help build skills through horse care, click here to find out more.
