As a fully licenced 5 Star riding school all lessons are delivered by Smeltings Farm Equestrian Training with private to small classes, each catering for each client's individual needs. All lessons are taught by suitably trained instructors, with the knowledge and experience to teach to the required level.  Our lessons are aimed primarily at those new to riding or those who have had a break, with the aim of helping you become comfortable and confident riding.
 
We have a range of horses and ponies from 12.2hh to 17.2hh and of all ages. All our horses remain with us even after they have been retired and are viewed very much as part of the family. This means that our clients develop a bond with the horses, without the fear that they will be sold on, with some of our clients growing up riding and caring for ponies and then seeing their own children also ride and care for the same pony or them enjoying a happy retirement.

Once a regular lesson time has been agreed to maintain this slot we do ask that you attend on a regular basis and ensure that you give us at least 36 hours notice if you find it necessary to cancel.
